Maroon Consultants is focused on helping agencies develop a system based on providing a wide range of services to client organizations seeking to establish community-based programs. We can also help find the funding required to develop and study these Housing First programs.
The consultancy now provides assistance with Homelessness Prevention, Housing First, and Rapid Re-Housing programs; Staff Training; Clinical Reviews; Professional Coaching, and Strategic Coaching.
Maroon Consultants relies on the services of a number of Professionals and Social Workers that provide additional support to development teams including strategic planning, staff retreats, organizational needs-assessment and organizational referrals.

Maroon Consultants can help you develop a management structure and skills needed to manage multi-disciplinary ACT (Assertive Community Treatment) teams that provide the services needed to do Housing First. We can help your organization develop teams to work with individuals and families to help them access entitlements, medical and psychiatric care, substance abuse treatment, and opportunities to find transitional and long-range housing within their communities. Your consulting team will also help your organization develop a “Treatment Plan” for working with some hard to reach homeless persons.

If you are having difficulty with a consumer or working with a certain type of client population we can help. We offer a formal Clinical Review. Our experience includes more than four years as Clinical Directors working with hard-to-reach homeless persons with multiple disabilities.
Staff Retreat
Does your staff need a break from the regular daily activities? We have experience in Staff Retreats complete with Knowledge and Resource Exchange, Small Group work and Team Building.
We will customize a retreat event to fit your needs that may include Team Building, Problem Solving and/or Planning.

Organizational Needs Assessment and Referral Service

If you are assessing staff size and management needs, we can assist you in putting together a comprehensive plan. And, if we cannot provide the services you need, we will at no cost to you provide your organization with the names of other consultants and organizations who might be able to help with your specific agency needs.
GENERAL STAFF TRAINING
Supervisors Training
This half-day or full-day training focuses on practical Supervision skills such as Delegation, Setting High Expectations, Providing Constructive Criticism, Providing Positive Feedback, Taking Corrective Action, and Termination.
Stages of Change/Motivational Interviewing
This full-day training session focuses on understanding and practicing Motivational Interviewing techniques in the Stages of Change framework. It allows counselors and therapists to accept consumers “where they are at” in the Stages of Change while giving them the tools to help clients’ personal growth and development.
Cultural Competence
This half-day training focuses on understanding and accepting diversity in our world. It challenges participants to understand their own cultural biases, which will allow an appreciation of the diverse perspectives in our society.
Communication in the Social Work Setting
This half-day training focuses on an evaluation of how we communicate in the work place and then takes practical steps to improve that communication. This training helps both individual and organizational communication.
